I tried a landscape mode, and I liked that too. I think both would work. For the vertical, I would suggest cropping some more at the bottom to the point where the curbing ends, as this puts the person into the thirds position, and makes the curbing useful as a lead in. |

I like looking at the line created here. Everything works for me, except I would suggest feather-burning in a portion of the bottom right sand to help focus the eye towards the baskets. |

I agree with Jose about eliminating some of the wide angle distortion. Outside of Lightroom, I usually use Transform>Distort, as it allows me to correct each side independently. I like the exposure/lighting, and especially like the reflections in the tiles. Not sure if cropping a little off of the bottom might improve the balance, so there is less of a feeling of split horizon. |

I like what you did here. The dramatic textures in the rock lead up to the main subject. I am not bothered by the partial table. It looks like the effects in the sky bled into the tower. I might suggest lightening it, especially more so at the top, as it is lighter at the base. Also looks like there was some unintentional bleed on the roof, causing a dark spot on white trim below it. |

Very nice capture. I like how you toned back the background, and the colors and detail in the sharp areas are great. The right flower is sharp only in the interior, which would not be a problem for me if it was positioned in front or back of the second flower. But because it is displayed with equal importance to the left flower, I would have preferred as much depth of focus as the left flower. Since you were on your stomach, I don't know if it would have been possible for you to have done focus stacking, and if not, perhaps you should have stopped down to f16 to get more in focus. (When I have had to do that with my macro shots, I will sometimes add the open f-stop version as a layer in Photoshop, and paint in the soft background.) |
