This makes a mysterious dramatic night style image. I think that possibly you could crop the final version to a horizontal image, as so little is left in the background. This then eliminates the slight distraction at the bottom. In looking at this some more, I prefer the color/contrast for the original main flower, as the post processing took some of that out. Perhaps you can paint some of the original flower attributes back in? (Cannot recall if that is a feature in Snapseed.) I tried selecting the main parts of the flower in Photoshop, and then darkening and blurring slightly the other part (background), and then used a tighter crop. I went ahead and added the extra blur to the already out of focus bloom at the bottom. My selection is a little rough, as I did not spend the time to refine it. One could argue that maybe my version would be better as a horizontal. |

Such sad eyes. Good exposure, color. I like the placement for this portrait. Possibly selecting the carpet, as the sharpness and texture may be in slight competition, then putting the selection on its own layer to blur and darken slightly may help to keep the focus on the puppy. I would consider this as only a minor change. See what you think. |

Nice pleasing scene. The weakest area of the photograph may be the top with the bright trees. I would suggest toning down the highlights. What may work is in camera raw or Lightroom, use the graduated slider down to the fence line, with setting of reduced highlights, slight reduction in exposure, and more contrast to compensate for highlights/exposure reduction.
I am sure you liked the leading fence line, but I wonder how much you would have had to shift the viewpoint to have gotten the edge of the pond on the right? Would that have added too much to the scene? |

Great expression. Nice light in eye. Well captured. While I think the fur looks nicely sharp, for some reason the detail in the rocks looks over sharpened, or perhaps it is jpeg artifacts. |

You brought out the tones nicely. Might be interesting to see what it looks like when trees are green. Would probably make a good B&W too :-) |

What a nice find. Colors are brilliant and final exposure dead on. While this cropping is okay, I think taking off 20% from the bottom still works too. More cropping just emphasizes the machines more, where your cropping gives more to the reflections. Either works for me. |
