I think what you are seeing in the jpeg is the increased structure to give it more detail. I can blend back part of the original in the bottom to minimize that. |

Considering the harsh light you had, the image came out good. While the pedal shadows do not help, the shadows of the stamens actually add a nice graphic quality. I looked at lowering the contrast in the shadows, but it did not help, as you actually have a fair amount of detail in the shadows now. |

I tend to see the "correct' way and after working on an image, forget to look at it reversed. I think you are right; the leading lines from left to right seem to reinforce the image. |

Agree with Mervyn's comments. The vignetting works on all the corners except in the top left, as I believe it is too pronounced and draws attention. |

Really unique building. This is some view. I think it works quite well, but I would try to bring down just the highlights some more. |

Nice image. The roofs are pretty saturated, but for that reason they become the focal point, which is what I think you intended. By adding contrast to remove the haze, which I think helped the background, it also made the foreground a tad too contrasty at the same time. The blacks on the trees looked blocked up, and I would prefer a little more dark detail in there. It is much better than the original (the blacks) but I think could use a little more. |

What a great tonal range here. I like the complexity of lines. A very minor suggestion I have is to use the Transform>Warp tool in PS, and pull that bridge corner on the bottom left down to remove the corner and see if simplifies that part. |
