If you have either Elements of Photoshop, you can use the Transform>Distort to fix it. Since Distort allows you to move each corner independently, you can pull the left top and bottom up separately to straighten it. |

I like the light and colors. The very top sky seems to have a little bit of a green cast, and it might help to select that part and either darken or add another complimentary color from the image to it. |

The improvements you made are great. I am not bothered by the dangling hair, except I might "cut" the one strand on the neck to match the length of the others. The bottom window is not a big distraction, but it might be improved with it cloned out.
I agree with Belinda that over all the specular highlights are not a major problem; I would just clone out (or reduce) the big group in the center. |

These crazy colors work for me. I wonder if you selectively darkened the top right window to more closely match the other windows? |

Yes, if you can go back, I would. Chance to get closer to what you wanted (and selected in the title). Is there a chance to bring down the highlights in the original so that the details in building are more visible? The building highlights are blown out in the jpeg original, and perhaps the original file has more info. I tried to fix but had limited success with the jpeg. Cropping severely may help to achieve what you are looking for, and this would succeed if you are not printing but only viewing as a projected image. |

The effect is nice. Luminar is now my go to plugin when I am looking for a different effect on an image. I would clone out the detail that is under the right book (or darken more). |

There was a lot of deep breathing before taking that series of exposures. I have essential tremors in my hands, and a tripod has taken on a lot more importance in my photography life, even though it has been a part of my work flow for ever.

I too like your original the best. I am not bothered by the window being centered; sometimes breaking the "rules" is better. I might just shave off a little on each side to emphasize the window more. (I think the bricks work as a part of the framework.)
There is a very slight tilt to the window, which can be fixed in LR by using the Transform in Develop, and using the Horizontal slider and vertical as needed. (Distort inside Transform in Photoshop works very well too.) |
