Thank you for your comments and how you explain your thoughts on this image...much appreciated. I love doing these type of images as they are fun to take. It's so much fun to experiment and move your camera in different ways as you never know the outcome of ICM images. |

Jay, you will have so much fund doing ICM images. There are so many ways you can move your camera to get different effects and no two pictures are ever the same. Thank you for your nice comments, Jay. |

Wow, Gordon, you are a master of your art. I like the way everything came together to produce this fine image. Your thought process always amazes me. The light on the grasses on the nest is nice as well as the sharpness of the Gannet and the addition of the "flying gannets". Love the mood... |

Like Ian says, this is a difficult image to photograph from moving boats and against the sun. What I played around with was to take your image into Photoshop Raw and selected the icon for masks (round circle with white dots on edge of icon). I selected subject and lifted the blacks/shadows. The result lightened the man's silhouette against the dark water and moving the white slider lightened up the water bit. The horizon is straight and the boater and his silhouette are nicely placed in the image...a really nice image Jay. |

Those eyes, Sanford....nice and bright..draws you right into the image. A really nice portrait...the only suggestion I offer would be to extend the canvas on the right side to get some space but otherwise, you should be very proud of this image. If you belong to a camera club, you should enter this image...a real winner. |

I like the triangle shape of the three people involved. Besides cropping, the "triangle shape" directs the viewer's eyes to the important part of the image. Nice backdrop of the people behind the cyclone fence. Lots of drama and excitement in the image. I enjoyed reading about your association with the team and location from where you shot the image. |

What a wonderful capture of the colorful displays att the Sidney Light and Sound Festival. The reflections of color in the water are quite nice. Were you in a boat or on land when you took the image of the Opera House? Quite a nice trio of images. In original 2 image the buildings sort of lean in though there Is a method to straighten them but I still like this image a lot. Nice processing on the images as to the bright lights and colors. Well done, Ian. |
