The position of the buffalo looking straight at you is quite nice and the blurred background brings our attention to the buffalo. The egrets, in close proximity to the buffalo, seemed quite relax. All in all, a very nice image of the buffalo's environment. Well done, Sophie. |

Wow, Gordon, so you shot this at 40,000 ISO. The noise is minimal and I am duly impressed with the quality of your image. I like the bird's positions relative to each other and kudos to you for capturing the bird on left just ready to land and the anticipation of the bird on the right waiting for the return of his mate....a very pleasing image Gordon. |

I like the way you made the background black isolating the flower bud and leaves from distracting background elements. The colors of red/green are so vibrant and really stand out and the rain drops add another nice element to the scene. Great image Jay. |

These small villages are wonderful to photograph. Gordes looks like a beautiful village to photograph. I agree with Jay that there is too much sky and if you crop down this would give more emphasis to the village of Gordes. I really like the beautiful white clouds in the sky. Perhaps cropping just below the small pink cloud would be my suggestion. There is pink color in the white clouds and bringing out the pink would really add to the image. Great image Sanford...looking forward to seeing more of your images from France. |

The eye is not distracted by the color and instead the eye is focused on all types of lines (vertical, horizontal and diagonal) and the image includes all types of texture. You have a great eye for detail and structure. Trey, today I went out and did some street photography in my town and one of the images I took was of a metal structure that looked like a parking meter. The "parking meter" had a slot where you could drop coins in to it (or use a Visa card) and the idea for the money is ending homeless with providing dignity through work. So Trey, ideas for street photography are everywhere and don't always have to include people. |

Wow! What a beautiful image, Ian. Your post-processing skills in processing this image have bought out all the beautiful light in this landscape image. The shadings of light and dark in the sky are really nice. Bringing out the foreground really added to the contour of the landscape. Well done, Ian. |

I have plenty of free wall space to hang a picture. Perhaps I should start with this one? You are very descriptive with your comments and I always appreciate this. Thank you for you thoughts on the rose image. |
