I will try to submit an image that is of proper size in the future. What I've done a few times is to size the image correctly in PS but In the e-mail windowI forget to select "actual size" and the image appears smaller. Thanks for your comments Gordon. |

As to the b/w image I really like the tones though, for me, it is difficult to see the edge on the left side of the image. Perhaps crop in a bit from the left to eliminate the dark edge? Both b/w and color images are strong. The position/angle of the bodies, legs and hands are wonderful along with the lighting. The position of the couple adds to the drama and artistic rendering of the performance. The lighting adds to but does not subtract from the strength of your image. This is a very strong image. Congratulations on capturing this wonderful moment of artistry. |

The elements in this image really draw me into the image. First I notice the triangle shape in the front with leading rocks on both sides of the waterfall. This all leads to the mountain in the background with its triangular shape and leading lines going down the slope of the mountain. The lighting is beautiful, soft and subtle and I see nice details in the shadows. The softness of the moving clouds is a nice touch and mimics the softness of the water. Well done, Gordon. |

Wow, Jay, this is a fantastic image from capture all the way through post processing. The elements in the image all add to impact of this image. From the warm reflections of the bridge in the water, to the curving lines of the waterway, the snowy covered rocks, deep blue skies, trees...so many elements In the image came together for a genuine "WOW" factor. Well done Jay. |

In doing wildlife photography, I always set the exposure/shutter speed/hysynch first so if something unexpectedly happens, you will be ready to get the image. And, ready you were! Great action shot. As far as the upper third of your image being degraded, you might want to try Topaz Ai Noise. I've used it many times and it works well. As far as eliminating the bit of wildlife on the left I would either clone it out or crop in just a bit as your eye won't be distracted. Lighting up the eye would also be helpful. All these suggestions are minor things as you can take care of this in post processing. But the most import thing is, and I want to emphasize this, "you got the shot". Well done Sanford. |

Images with negative space can be very powerful. Allowing us to see the negative space that surrounds the subject (farm equipment) draws our eye into what you want the viewer to see and not get distracted by things that don't add to the image. I agree with Jay who states "your low camera position allows us to see the repeating pattern of the rig as it disappears"....A very strong image in its simplicity...good seeing....nice conversion to b/w. |

You exceeded very well on the purpose of your nighttime shot of the Sydney Harbour and the Harbour Bridge. Nightime photography can be challenging at times. The sky shows smooth movement of the clouds and the water an array of beautiful soft colors in the waters of the bay. There are a lot of suggestions from group members on how to enhance your image so I won't add to those except to say that you can always try the suggestions offered and see how they render the image. But, for your first time to this spot, Bravo! For what it's worth, sometimes when I think when I'm finished processing an image there is always someone with a different vision on how my image can be better enhanced. But then, that's what this group is for....working together for the betterment of the individual and the group as a whole. |
