Going a step further on Trey's comment about cloning out the man in the background...why don't you then make the image into a vertical and leave out the other dancers (just a suggestion)? I like the black and white rendition better and the contrast is wonderful between the tones in your image. |

This sunflower image has a nice quality of softness. The one orangish flower adds a nice accent to the image. Love the image...well done Heide. |

Thank Trey for your comments. With your version, the image is much stronger and the focus is on the hands and eyes and I like the 1/3 aspect ratio. I must remember in post processing the message I'm trying to convey because it makes all the difference in how the viewer feels when looking at the image. |

Wow, what an improvement from the original image with your post processing skills. What I also like about your image is that you can crop this image a few different ways and still come up with a nice image, perhaps even doing a vertical format. The water is nicely toned and the leaves colorful and the shadowing adds a nice background to the water and leaves...well done, Jay.

Lucky you to have had the chance to be in such a beautiful place.I like the way that you enhanced the blues in the image and the red jackets of the passengers in the raft. The clouds are nicely textured as well as the iceberg. My only suggestion would be to crop into the iceberg just a little so the water below (in front)of the iceberg doesn't appear. Aside from that suggestion, I like how you greatly improved the image from the original. |

The leaf is full of wonderful textures and rich tones...just the right amount of light and shadows in the image. I really like the way you mold and shape the image with shadow, light and sharpening. Cropping on the left is just right. The way that the image was rendered makes it appear, to me, as if it is an image of a rugged terrain taken from a lofty height...perhaps from a drone...An image to be proud of.... |

I so admire someone who thinks outside of the box and challenges him or herself to come up with a creative rendering of a scene. It is only when we challenge ourselves creatively that we grow as photographers. Each image is very pleasing and I like both. With the main image my eye concentrates on the light that is upon the waves and the outlines of the waves. It is a beautiful image in its simplicity. Well done, Ian. Can wait to see what else you come up with in the future. |
