I need to do more of this kind of still life. Nice balance for me throughout. The only thing that keeps catching my eye is the little tag on the side of the tomato. Other than removing that all is good. The big tag I like. Gives me some information to look at. |

Nice image in the original. Hard to crop too much these days unless one has a camera with 35 megapixels or more. That I have learned. I am a big cropper. ND has a location close by that gathers some Eagles during the winter. Was there recently photographing them across an open water area next to Garrison Dam. One come from behind me. Caught me off guard with my 500mm. Could have hit it with a rock. You got a decent shot. I did not. LOL |

I like it. As I mentioned in another of our group members photo, I also find this composition calming. Nice colors throughout. |

We are the same age Anne! Nice clear and sharp photo. Would be more interesting to me to know more about the nearby surrounding area causing that culvert to be there. A rusty old tractor, for this ex farmer, would have peaked my interest much more. At least you are getting out and about. Sitting here in ND awaiting a blizzard later today. |

Interesting composition. Quite unique. First drawn to shoes then background and to me lastly blown out sun. After that the sun is no longer much of an eye grabber for me. I am back on the red shoes for more analysis. |

No doubt you have several variations of this photo. All of them probably good. Either way I find the composition of this photo quite calming. |

Fixtures are not permanent. The setup is still there. Planning on trying a black background and a dark wood background which would require different lighting. Glad you all like the concept. Just have not had much time to play around with it. |
