Thank you. You can see that the original had some small rocks and pieces of wood that I either cropped out or removed with the PS remove tool.

Hi Steve. I like the wide-angle perspective and your composition, with depth of field that kept everything sharp. My preference is a bit softer sky, somewhere between your original and final, but a few other group members like the more dramatic sky. I found that the Sky masking option in ACR or LR does a good job masking the sky. Sometimes, after you mask the sky, you can intersect the first sky mask with a sky mask and get a better mask, but it doesn't always get better. |

Hi Emil. Many judges reject photographs of sculptures or painting, claiming that they are not your art. I argue that you can photograph someone else's art and still make the picture your creative art. Your picture here is a perfect example that proves my point. The composition, inclusion of the reflection, removal of the bright leaves on the left, and IR made it your beautiful art. |

Hi Henry. Very nice recovery of the shadows. The final picture looks good. The scene and your composition are beautiful. Nicely done. I don't think that a standard camera would've done as good a job with the harsh light as the IR did. |

Hi Gary. This is a beautiful scene and IR picture. I don't want to repeat everything you said in your write-up here, other than I agree with you. I would probably skip the Detail Extractor, but I know you like the crisp details. |

Hi Charles. Covered bridges are usually overrated as photography subjects, because they are not often in attractive settings and don't show interesting architecture. However, this one is an exception. Your composition is beautiful with the curved path, the tree on the left, and the nice foliage in the background. Some highlights in the background (bottom right) are bright, but it's not unusual for IR image. Beautiful picture. |

Hi Melanie. What a beautiful, well-handled picture. The IR camera was perfect for the scene. The skin tones would've been too dark with a standard camera. The vegetation stands out too. I like the inclusion of the taller tree and the cloudy sky. |
