Hi Henry. This is a classic picture that you handled well in capture and post. I have a similar one on film (slide). The IR worked nicely with the beautiful clouds. |

Besides the tonal adjustments, Silver Efex Pro has additional controls that provide nice tools for creating the final look. For example, film grain, toning, vignette, burnt edges, borders, and control points for local adjustments. If you'd like a quick demo, I'll be glad to do it over Zoom. |

Hi Steve. Welcome to the group. Beautiful first submission. I like the simple composition and post processing of the IR image. I have two cameras converted with 720nm filters. My next one will have a full spectrum conversion, but the 720 is not bad at all. I like your gentle handling of the sky. I'm not a fan of aggressive contrast enhancement of the sky and clouds. It looks more natural this way. Nicely done. |

Hi Emil. You found a great spot for this composition. The trees frame the curved path nicely. Good processing to recover the highlights and convert to b&w. I also like the original with the strong color. Nicely done. |

Hi Gary. Nice work with the building. Infrared brings out details even in the architecture. I like your choice of light sepia. Most of my monochrome images are toned to be a bit warm. I'm not sure why there are a couple of tiny white spots on the dark building in the background. I don't see them on the original. Still, well done. |

Hi Charles. Very beautiful and well-handled environmental portrait. The soft window light is perfect. I don't mind the objects in the original, but you did a good job with the cleanup. I like to shoot street portrait with the IR camera. The skin is nice and soft. However, veins may show more than with a standard camera. |

Hi Jack. Before I read your text, I looked at the cropped track and thought that it looks fine. I have a similar picture where I left one full track and a small portion of the second one. I wasn't sure if my framing was good, but now I feel better about it. I also like the orientation of the picture. It flows nicely from left to right. The curved rail frames it. Very nicely done. |

Hi Melanie. Your tour got you to a very unique and beautiful location. Great timing with the location of your boat for this composition. I like the removal of the rope and floats. I would also remove the half boat on the left, but it may not be your story here. The handling of the processing and conversion is good. Nicely done. I'm sure we'll see more from your trip. |
