66 Feb 24 Reply Kolari Vision is a small, but very good outfit 3 miles from my house. I get my sensors cleaned there. I also bring friends to clean or do conversions. Feb 1st
66 Feb 24 Comment Hi Emil. I agree with Gary here. The picture is interesting, beautiful and nicely handled. The sky adds drama, and the trees create a good center of interest to anchor the viewer's eyes. Feb 1st
66 Feb 24 Comment Hi Palli. Very nice work with the original image and the post processing. The application of the NIK adjustments worked well for this picture. The tonal adjustments add interest and focus the viewer on the bike. Well done. Feb 1st
66 Feb 24 Comment Hi Gary. You created a very dramatic picture, especially with the inverted tones and high contrast. I like the scene very much. I would probably go for a bit softer and less noisy sky. Feb 1st
66 Feb 24 Comment Hi Charles. Nice work with the leading curve and the pattern created by the columns. Post processing is handled well. I wonder how the picture would look in color, after channel swapping. I have the 720nm filter that doesn't pass as much color as your 590nm. Feb 1st
66 Feb 24 Reply Thanks Gary. I'll try it on the high-res. Feb 1st
66 Feb 24 Comment Hi Jack. When my image appears flat, but some highlights are bright and close to the edge of the histogram, I use a level, or curve, adjustment layer to increase the contrast and then paint the mask to remove the effect from the highlights that went overboard. The technical handling is fine. I think that the mid-day light here worked well for the trees, but didn't give the architecture enough punch. I may try to crop closer to the two trees and concentrate on the view within what they're framing. Feb 1st
66 Feb 24 Comment Hi Melanie. Very nicely composed and handled picture. I love the girl in the foreground. The heron is an extra bonus. I like the way the light leads the viewer into the scene. I have no suggestions for making it better. You got it right. Feb 1st
66 Feb 24 Comment Hi Henry. I really like this image, including the windmills. The colors work for me. My next IR camera will be full spectrum, so I can use the 590 as well as the 720. Nicely done. Feb 1st
