Hi Emil. Great find and nice work with the scene. I like both your revised image and Gary's version. Of course, it's your picture and your interpretation is important. I know that when we judge the work of another photographer, we focus on visual impact, rather than on the mood and feelings that the maker intended to capture. |

Hi Gary. This is true art. You made art out of a simple pattern in the sky. Most people wouldn't see it, but your composition and post work that enhanced the contrast made it so obvious and beautiful.

Hi Charles. The scene, the new sky, the cropping, and the overall processing are good. Cutting some of the foreground gets you to the main scene quicker. It also made the composition less static, with the transitions between the flats, mountains, and sky in the thirds. |

Hi Jack, I really like this picture and the way you handled it. I know it's not the usual IR scene, but I found the the IR camera picks up details that would fall into dark shadows with a standard camera. I like to shoot IR, even when there's no foliage, clouds, or other objects where IR is obvious.
The scene here is interesting, and the warm tones are perfect.
