16 Apr 19 Reply It is ok Kathleen. There is some difference in editing. Hence there is no need of apologising. Apr 21st
16 Apr 19 Comment Your choice of the location for motion blur is very good. It is good try. I think you were panning and the speed was not sufficient to get the model in sharpness. Here, both model and background are blurred. Conversion to sepia, to me, did not improve the image. In motion blur, either background or the subject need to be in sharp contrast.

You know, if you have a sharp picture, you can give motion blur effect through photoshop. In August 2008 one image was displayed by me in this group. (Since the very old pages are not available online now, I am posting it here again. The motion blur was created in photoshop.)

16 Apr 19 Comment Very good action shot. The image is sharp, colorful and with nice lighting. The cropping is good to avoid distractions. I think you can try a vertical image trying to include one ski and full front leg in the image. Apr 21st
16 Apr 19 Comment I think it is same image you provided in October 2018 - Wild Horses Fighting (http://psadigital.org/group16/image.php?iid=30816). There is minor changes in the post processing. The lighting and sharpness improved from the previous version. Apr 21st
16 Apr 19 Comment Nice shot. I liked the composition, lighting and sharpness. You did an excellent cropping. The cloning out the obstructing branches of the tree is perfect. I don't find any suggestion to further improve, may be a little adjustment in shadows. Apr 21st
16 Apr 19 Comment Excellent capture. To me the image has nice colors, sharpness, no distractions and perfect cropping. The image can be used as a nice wall hanging with a suitable artistic border. Well done, no suggestions. (Peacock is the national bird of India too) Apr 21st
16 Apr 19 Comment Interesting image. I liked the corrections you incorporated after Joan's suggestion. The composition looks good to me. I also suggest perspective correction for the windows. Good work and look forward to seeing more interesting images from you. Apr 21st
16 Apr 19 Comment Thanks for the comments. I would like to explain about this mountain. The Himalayas is considered as the adobe of God Shiva. This particular mountain's shape on the top has given it the name 'Trishul'.

Trishula (IAST: triśūla) is a trident, commonly used as the principal symbols in Hinduism and Buddhism. In India and Thailand, the term also often refers to a short-handled weapon which may be mounted on a danda or staff. It is wielded by the god Shiva and is said to have been used to sever the original head of Ganesha. Durga also holds a trishula, as one of her many weapons. The three points have various meanings and significance, and, common to Hindu religion, have many stories behind them. They are commonly said to represent various trinities-creation, maintenance and destruction; past, present and future; body, mind and atman.

68 Apr 19 Comment Interesting image and its story. I liked partial monochrome image. The image has good 3D effect. The three bright windows in the background are distractions, I think you can trim that area or burn down the brightness. Apr 24th
68 Apr 19 Comment Interesting creation. Both parallel or cross view of the same image pair looks good. Very nice conversion from 2D to 3D.

As a few members of the group, including me are not familiar with 2D to 3D conversion, can some of our experts give some simple step-by-step instruction to do the same?

68 Apr 19 Comment Thanks for introducing a new plant to me. I did a search and found that Bloodroot is a wildflower that grows in the eastern parts of the United States and Canada. Its stem, called the rhizome, secretes a bright red latex compound when cut. That liquid compound is what gives the plant its name. Plants start to bloom before the foliage unfolds in early spring. Seeds are spread by ants, a process called myrmecochory. Plant extract is used as a natural red dye and has some medicinal use too.

Regarding the image, it has nice 3D view. The dark green leaves are sharp and goes well with the background. The flowers are small and details are not visible.

68 Apr 19 Comment Excellent creative image. I liked the composition. Mirror reflection worked well in this image. The image is sharp and lighting is good. Well done. Apr 24th
68 Apr 19 Comment Good 3D view of the old car.The image has nice depth, lighting, colors and composition. I would have flipped the image, as I prefer looking at objects moving and/or about to moving to the right side. Very nice image. Apr 24th
