I rather like this. The colors are moody, and lots of detail. I agree that the green could pop a bit more, as the colored leaves provide a nice triangle of interest within the frame. Background works here, too, to support the ambience.
I would suggest cropping the top and right side to remove edge elements. The short stick and knot distract me a bit; a tighter crop to eliminate would be stronger? |

I enjoy the vibrant color and detail. Really nice composition.
A flower lying on a table is ... a bit odd for me. I'm not entirely sure why. +1 on the background: different color and less detail?
You could have captured a few more shots of the top of the flower, but as it is, it is fine for me. What distracts my eye are the highlights on the stem (upper right). While the create, with the leaves on the left, a triangle, their contrast commands too much of my attention. Perhaps enhanced detail on the flower would counteract that? Not sure. |

Lovely composition, color, and focus. Super geometry for the background blur. And congrats on finding five flowers.
I could live without the border, as this color palette will pop against almost any background. |

I'm not sure the subject is the berries. My eye goes to the leaf.
Lovely composition and detail, and the image tells me a lot, but also asks questions. So, good story.
I'd suggest a bit more space left and below. Maybe get the branch out of the upper right corner?
Nice find. I was not nearly this successful during our snowmageddon. |

I like the palette here: green, lilac, orange. The background separation is excellent and works for me.
This image shows the challenge of focus: the bee's left legs are in focus, its head is not. And I typically pay attention to the eyes. The bud on the left is also in focus, which distracts me. I might lose the left 15% of the image... maybe.
Focus aside, I like the use of midday light, and the detail in the bee and flower. |
