Ok, but how does that explain the blue-colored 'N' in the vertical parking sign ? |

I pretty much agree with what Gary has commented. I've been trying to see if some significant cropping could make an improvement and find that removing much of the foreground and upper right side seems to help, in my mind's eye. Of course that makes it a different image totally. |

Very pleasing image, well processed. I tried to duplicate your effort using the 'original' image you supplied, with some success. I assume the process from Life Pixel is one of their channel-swap actions. |

Lisa, I'm a little confused (not unusual) by this image. Where does the blue color come from in the Original Image? Not only in the tree leaves, but in one letter of the sign. Not from either the 470 or 590nm filters ? |

Thanks, Henry. I guess I'm partial to extreme B-W, but do like what can be done with color IR. |

Jeff -- I'm the new guy, just getting a feeling on how the DD91 comments go. This is a nice sharp image, especially for a f/5.6 shot. Taken with a 590mm filter, so there should be lots of color hiding in there waiting to be brought out with channel swapping... give it a try. Life Pixel has a couple of (free) actions that will do it for you. |
