Dan, As the others have indicated, my feeling is that your panorama of the San Diego skyline is too far from the subject and the story has been lost. I think your revised image comes much closer to telling the San Diego story and does a better job of stimulating the viewers interest. |

Bruce, The composition you have chosen I think is excellent and the story is outstanding. My eye is drawn into the image viewing the subjects and the graffiti. The support post towards the middle adds dimension and depth to the image. |

Roger, Glad to have you with us. As we all recognize, your first submission was taking on a difficult task because of the significant difference in light. It appears the image was taken at mid-day when the hard, bright background light is not your best friend. I like the contrast your image conveys and might suggest trying to take the photo at dusk to accomplish your objective. Maybe then there will be some lights in the background to embellish it. |

Daniel, good street scene story with lots of action. I can see that the kids are quite excited about the gull. |

Gloria, there's a story and a lot to look at in this photo. I would suggest cropping on all sides to eliminate nonessential elements and concentrate on the three people and their activity. LR shadow slides should lighten the dark areas of the photo. |
