glad it stayed still for you .it is a difficult shot . There wings are fuzzy...and the texture of the wings is hard to render. I might have tried to shoot at f9 .Nicely done |

such an interesting subject .The eyes and beak are what makes the bird . I would try to reframe the image and cut out the distracting foreground and a tad of the upper background ..the bird is perfectly focused .I like the bokey background and like the fact that you photographed enough of the sandy background to sit the bird in its natural environment |

thank you ,I could have cropped it more to eliminate the slight blur of the stem at the time the image felt right .. |

Very sharp image of an interesting bird ,focused on the eye.I wonder if getting rid of the dark patch on the right near the feet would help bring out the shadow . |
