Thanks Carol. Good suggestions which I have adopted for the final image. |

Thanks Connie. This was a fun "fantasy" project and I really enjoyed discovering where it was going while I worked on it. |

Thanks Linda. I will clean up the frame a bit as I see how those spots can be distracting. |

Thanks Denise. I see how those spots on the frame can be a distraction and that certainly is an easy fix. |

This image really makes you stop and think about what am I looking at. I like your processing which gives this scene an archeology like vibe to my eye. The pronounced textures really give your eye a lot to explore. A very interesting image. |

You have a nice composition with this image that has lovely color and a pleasant soft glow. You have done a good job of reducing distractions and getting us focused on your central subject.
Through your processing, the final image has what looks like a halo around many of the elements that I find a bit distracting. Not sure if this was introduced through blurring the background and could be easily fixed with a little tighter masking. I agree with Linda that it would be good to include the entire lower flower and give it a little more room. |

You have created a wonderful image here Carol. Your editing choices are excellent and well executed resulting in a very calming image. Like Linda, I can see this one on the wall - well done. |

Beautifully captured Linda. You really nailed your focus here which is so critical in wildlife shots. The catchlight in the birds eye is perfect. I like your crop and cleanup job. My only suggestion might be to play with reducing the brightness of the background just a little to see whether you think it makes this beautiful bird pop even more than it already does. |

You have captured a lovely image Mary. The bright sunlight in the foreground with the soft light on the hills resulting from cloud cover gives the scene a lot of depth and mood.
I think your final image is fine as is but I did experiment with adding a graduated filter to darken the foreground a bit to add more depth and draw the viewer into the scene. |
