Thanks Carol. I quite like your processing and can see how the image works in color. I need to decide on my final direction with this image which is proving to be a challenge! |

Thanks Linda. I really like your approach. I think this image works well in B&W and also in color based on what you have done. Bringing out the green in the rocks adds a highlight that is missed in the B&W image. The group had given me plenty to think about as I work on an improved final image. Thank you. |

Thank you Denise. I really like what you have done here and agree with your critique completely. I was going for this extreme minimal effect but based on the groups comments I now feel this is not the right image for that style of processing. Your treatment brings back the softness and results in a more pleasing image. |

Thanks Witta. I blew the sky out on purpose going for a minimal look but I do think with this particular image it works better with more detail and I like your approach here. |

This is a beautiful capture Carol. I like that you have removed distracting elements and adding the birds is a nice touch. This is a very peaceful scene and your processing is excellent.
I really like what Linda has done. By flipping the image, the pier creates a perfect leading line into the scene. Either way, you have a keeper here. |

I completely agree with others that you have tuned this image into a special one. I really like your creative processing here and it results in a very fun image full of life. My only suggestion would be to add a "cute" frame to set off your final product. |

A very nice capture Denise. I particularly like the alignment of the plate and bowl which makes this centered composition work to my eyes. You have a lot of nice detail in the flower petals here.
I like Witta's suggestions and might also try replacing the background with a nice texture which compliments your color palette. |

I think you have created a very nice composition based around your camping photos. I'm always looking for ways to turn my "snap shots" into something more and you have absolutely achieved that here.
I agree with Witta and Denise about the color cast that has been introduced. You can always use a B&W adjustment layer clipped to the birds to remove all color information from that photo. I think I would also clone out the top three birds. The top two birds in particular really pull my eye to corners and away from your composition. |
