Thank you Mary. I never thought about trying reflections with portraits and can see how that could generate some very interesting images. |

Thanks Witta. I see your point about toning down the reflection which would also help to focus attention on the upper leaf. Well worth exploring. |

Thank you Linda. I can see how going with all black adds a touch more drama. Thanks. |

Kudos to you for taking on an experiment and seeing it through. I quite like your final result. If you wanted to try a different look you might see the impact of pruning the tree trunks bear so that you are left with trunks and their canopies - a very different look for sure. Either way, this image is dark, brooding and yet hopeful all at the same time. |

You have captured a very nice composition here and I quite like the contrasting colors. Your edits have really softened the background drawing our focus to the flowers. I agree with Witta, that the one green leaf needs to be tamed and I love Connie's edits in this regard. A very pleasing image overall. |

You have really captured the fall mood in this image and I certainly don't think it looks over processed. In addition to the good suggestions you have already received I wonder if it might not simplify the scene to crop in tighter on the right hand side to remove the large tree. |

You have really created a special image here of these beautiful girls. How often do we get the chance to bring tears of joy through our efforts? I really like your editing approach which results in a clean and soft image that keeps our focus on your subjects. I like your original and also like Denise's approach which works well. I'm sure it was a delight shooting this and you certainly met the brief which was to create something beautiful and artistic for Grandma. |

What a beautiful image Linda. I think your crop is on target and your processing has added both drama in the sky and given a painterly quality to the those lovely bluebonnets. Well done. |

You have captured a fine image of this very lovely setting. The colors are so soft that I completely understand your decision to go with a B&W conversion which I think works well on this image. Your final take is fine but feels a little too gray to my eye. I think you could spend some time in PS dodging and burning several of the key elements in the image to increase your dynamic range and bring out a little more drama. |
