The sky replacement has worked really well and the placement of the bird is really effective. I find the lower area quite confused with detail compared with the lovely clean lines of the upper three quarters of the image. Maybe a shot from a slightly lower perspective would remove the cars, bit of building etc. |

Hi Stephen, yes that is correct. Obviously if used as a PJD image you would not be able to fiddle with it anyway. But the light area draws the eye, although it is a very minor point about a good image. |

Really good eyes on both horse and rider. The background is not distracting, which at these events can often be cluttered. A slightly distracting flash of white along the riders leg at the saddle line at the end of the horses mane. Another fraction of a second so that both horses hooves were visible would make it outstanding. |

Great image Karen, love it. I think Kathy is right about the horizon having a slight slope - perhaps that is how it was. |

Super stairway image Judy and the eye is nicely led into the frame. To my eye the brickwork top left is a little too bright and orange - could it be toned down to the color of the other brickwork? The light shining through the grill is a distraction albeit a minor one. You do a great job finding these elements in buildings. |

Hi Elaine, a good capture, I always find these small critters a really difficult subject. I did try a tighter crop to try and emphasise the strong diagonal you have captured, see what you think. |

Thanks Kathy, the red flower I had missed and the edges should always get close scrutiny. I might just crop out the red flower, although I think your new crop works really well. |
