Perhaps you could expose for the frame and then lift the shadows. Or use a different coloured frame. Why not ask the chair at your local camera club they are usually very knowledgeable! |

Respect for going out and taking this, I have had several spurned opportunities as I am more of a morning person.
I would go with the other re the brightness, but that being said it is still a very pleasing image. |

It is magical when you can experience a sunrise like this. Really nice proportions and color palette. The muted and foggy middle ground adds mystery. I think you could play around with this almost endlessly and make it different but possibly not better.

I think the black and white really works well. You could try a little more contrast on the actual trees and sky to add punch.
A very pleasing image. |

Hi Judy, a really good documentary image. Good proportions, sorry cannot suggest anything to improve it. |

A lovely image Elaine and you have selected a background which complements the image perfectly. The solidness of the stem emphasising the delicate lacework of the pods. The only minor thing you might consider getting rid of is the small knick in the stem very near the base of the picture. |

Not on his face but on his forehead. He was in fancy dress for the race and his face and body were coloured bright orange. |
