29 Sep 24 Comment The balloons were very nice although fickle as to weather conditions as they did not fly at all on the first day. I must admit I was not as keen at the 4am alarm call on both days for the dawn ascent. Sep 21st

29 Sep 24 Comment Ron, I always admire astrophotography because the photographers are taking pictures when I am either thinking of cocoa and bed or already asleep. You seem to have got the exposure right which I believe is often a problem. But I would not presume to offer any advice. Sep 12th
29 Sep 24 Comment I really like the technique of shooting against a plain uncluttered background. Nice diagonal of the stem and a adding a bit of pathos imparted by the bent stem and a bloom just past its best. Sep 12th
29 Sep 24 Reply Hi Bob, I think I may have accentuated the burnout with my processing. As you surmised I changed the sky as it was a dawn ascent on a very dull day. I will defineterly revisit and reprocess. Sep 12th
