29 Mar 24 Comment Hi Ron, I like the surreal impact of the ultra wide angle lens and the exposure for such a complex scene is excellent. But I find myself in Bob's camp as I really want to have a strong focal point to hold my eye, especially with such a fascinating subject. Mar 10th
29 Mar 24 Comment Thanks Ron, I'll clone that out when I am giving Gunter's suggestions a go. Mar 10th
29 Mar 24 Comment Wonderful colours Bob and the swirl really looks to be liquid. I would certainly not have envisaged the dahlia in your original. Mar 7th
29 Mar 24 Comment Really like the concept and the execution. The eagle appears very sharp and I think this is because the lighting on your original shot is much brighter than the landscape you have put it into. Also I not sure how this occurred but it appears as if your horizon is running through on top of the the tree, i.e. it should disappear where it crosses behind the solid branches. All in all I really like the picture. Mar 7th
29 Mar 24 Comment Really super colours which really grab the eye. The water has a particularly good richness, but I would just like a little bit more in the sky, in tonal terms. Mar 7th
29 Mar 24 Comment Fascinating final vision you have produced Judy. The central focal point is very powerful and you have selected another great original for this treatment. Mar 7th
29 Mar 24 Comment Bob has been quite comprehensive, but I would also point out the slight imperfection in the top right hand petal is slightly distracting and I think could easily be cloned out. Perhaps also with the static nature of this subject you might consider focus stacking to guarantee front to back sharpness. Overall it is a pleasing image well suited to the simple presentation. 29 Mar 24 Reply Thanks Bob, Yep PJ rules forbid any changes of that kind, However I will give Gunter's suggestion a go and try entering it into a mono category where no such rules apply. Mar 7th
29 Mar 24 Reply Thanks Gunter, Yes i will give that a try and see what emerges. Mar 7th
