Since you are suggesting submitting it to a competition, I just noticed that in the conversion to Black and white the highlights above and to the left and above the subject have become blown out, it would be best to darken those and regain the detail. Best wishes! |

Thank you. Avoiding the snapshot was definitely on my mind ans I spent nearly 2 days just photographing this site. |

Funny, I wondered whether I should identify the landmark in the title or whether it would be obvious. |

This is a fabulous image of a tree. It stands alone literally and figuratively. Your image gives a mood and a sense of place, without the need to tell a particular story, although banjos are clearly stage left. Well done. |

I like this the way it is, with the sharp focus in the foreground. Very pretty and well-balanced. |

Composite is nicely done, cannot tell it is not "real." |

This is a fine composition. The only thing that would be better is if he was walking towards you! As to the processing, I agree decrease the vignette, and a little less on the Texture/crunchiness. |

I like the mood, agree with everyone. I appreciate the amount of detail you captured in the lunar surface despite the atmospheric haze. and I think the shape of the moon is due to ia day or two short of a full moon. |
