Lance I tried to make a print of this image and failed miserably. It came out muddy and flat with none of the contrast and dynamic range of the digital image. I wonder if you have any advice about this? |

the building on the right is a mirror image of the existing building on the left. That is the only change I made other than the black and white conversion. You can even see some stars. |

Do you shoot them in raw? And what is your method of getting them onto your computer for editing? |

He Lance 5 out of 6 images are black and white this week! What does that say about us? I like the distant fog and the fact that the ship is solo, and a silhouette. I can see going back to this spot repeatedly to take the same images with different lighting conditions and clouds. |

Dale, this is a nice subject, and I am sure it was very beautiful there. I wonder if B&W is the right choice, as there is not a large range of tonal values here, not a lot of contrast either. Maybe just go with color and crop down on the boaters? |

This is a great shot. I like the moon, always. Can I ask, if you remember 2018, why not step to the right a bit and get that bird smack dab in the middle of it? |

I like the choice of black and white; it focuses on the shapes and textures since roses are mostly monochromatic. The depth of field is impressive, the iphone is sure a good way to avoid spending an hour doing image stacking. |
