Sometimes I become attached to an image and fail to see its flaws. In this case, I agree I learned to live with the shed and the boat! My own biggest self-critique is that, while the sky is the hero of the image, it needs more foreground. If not for the lightning strike it might have been consigned to the dustbin of my hard drive, never to be seen again. |

I can see that one of the problems of enlarging the camel guy is that, unless these are cropped a lot, you may wind up with a panoramic aspect ratio.
In addition to blending the transition with a gradient, it may be possible to work with the camel image and change the colors or white balance so that they blend better with the biker. If the sand looked similar in the two images, that would help a lot. |

I agree with all the constructive comments above. My only suggestion is that maybe it is a little green in tinge and could be warmed up a bit? |

I really love this image! The colors and sharpness are outstanding. If it's not for nature competition I would clone out the one branch that is pointed towards the back of the bird. Also, I can see that you tried to follow the practice of keeping the subject off center. My personal style for a static bird image like this would be instead to center the bird in a square format. Just a choice. |

I love this shot. New camera or no, it takes patience and knowledge of the bird's behavior to catch it in flight like this. It's sharp and the eye is looking right at you! Agree about the sky, though you might try darkening it a bit?
The suggested horizontal crop would require cloning out branches of the nest that are sticking up. That would violate PSA rules as well.

Can I be honest ? The image is technically very good, but there is no story. It doesn't hold the viewer's interest. |

Indeed, the cabin is a problem. It's distortion due to the wide angle lens. I tried to correct it, using various techniques, but without much luck. On the other hand, maybe it really is a slanted cabin, inhabited by people who lean to the left. Not sure. |
