I copied your idea to add headroom in PS. It's amazing what can be done. I have submitted it to a street photography competition, and hope the judges like it as much as our group did! |

Thanks. The exposure is 1/1600s, at f/5.6, ISO 400. Nikon D850 with 24-70 f/2.8 at 60mm. I have tried my hand at slower shutter speeds to show wheel motion, etc, by my subject inevitably blurs and this works better for me. |

Great capture, Steven, and tack-sharp. I like the shutter speed so the bird is sharp but the wings show motion. Colors are great. If this was my image (and I could only wish I got such a nice one), I might go to Lightroom, choose the new select object mask, and blur the background a little more. |

This is fun. For a good moment I really thought you surrounded the instrument with vines. To me the images suggest that the dulcimer emerged from a living piece of wood or a tree, and therefore the icy background might have been better if it was something that went along with that theme. |

This image tells a nice story; a barn shouldn't be surrounded by all that brush, so it adds to the signs of disuse that are obvious on the structure itself. Lots of nice lines and good idea to use B and W. |
