99 Jul 24 Comment Ver nice image of the bird and the cactus. I like what Barbara did to increase the separation between the two of them. I would like to see more cropped off the bottom and make the image more horizontal. Jul 21st
99 Jul 24 Comment Seeing your image reminds me that I need to revisit the Dayton Air Force Air Museum again. It has several planes like this for visitors to look through and take pictures of including one of the SST planes. I really like the plane and the sepia look and can see little about this image that I don't like. The garbage can should be eliminated. Jul 21st
99 Jul 24 Comment A very effective but sobering story of how age wins out over how man must cope with nature. I think this nature would be more effective in color instead of black and white. The colors of the foliage against the colors of the car I think would be more effective. Jul 21st
99 Jul 24 Comment We just had a portrait contest in our local camera club. This image would have done well but I don't think it would have won. The winner had a very unusual and effective lighting plus shadow combination. the issue of the father is one of personal preference and I find it somewhat distracting even though the subject probably feels it give him a unique look. 99 Jul 24 Comment Very nice image and definitely well suited to black and white. All of the dogs that I have had seemed to very much NOT like any kind of sweater or outer garment. Since I am of the Western Hemisphere I decided to see what the image would look like if I turned it 180 degrees. I think I like it better that way so that the leading line goes up from left to right. What does the group think? Jul 21st
