9 Jan 18 Comment A very nice sharp capture of the bird. I find the background distracting but I am sure sure how much blurring it would help/ Jan 27th
9 Jan 18 Comment Even though your work would disqualify this image from the Nature category it is very well done and this image should do very well in competition. Jan 27th
9 Jan 18 Comment The conversion to black & white was quite well done with a good tonal range from white to black. Most of the time our eyes will go to his eyes and then we see the reflections which I find distracting. Not all people do. Jan 27th
9 Jan 18 Comment Nice detail in the flower. Not sure I like the flower in three pieces. I tend to want to use the triptych concept to three separate images next to each other to tell a story where one image is not enough. Jan 27th
9 Jan 18 Comment Very nice portrait and the eyes draw the attention. I think I would like to see this with a muted green background. Jan 27th
9 Jan 18 Comment Nice reflection and mood image. Since I am not much into mood images I would adjust the levels and saturation to give this image more contrast. Adding a fisherman on the left would give the image more interest. Jan 27th

21 Jan 18 Comment This is a lovely image. To satisfy the discussion about someone else's art work it would make a difference if you would show the original art work and then what you did with it. It would then be up to the viewer or judge to decide if enough of the work was your own. Since I do not know anything about the original I can only comment on what I see. The black and white effect is quite nice and I wish you had recorded how you got it. Then Final result is a work of fine art however it was produced. Jan 27th
21 Jan 18 Comment There were a number of comments that thought the sky was added. The sky was actually as shot except for the solarization. It was not but the differentiation must have come about due to the solarization. Jan 27th
21 Jan 18 Comment A very sharp capture of the bird and its catch light. What would happen if you flipped him/her. I would also like to see what a different color for the background would do. I would like to see more separation of the bird from its background. Jan 27th
21 Jan 18 Comment A beautiful bird image and the texture provides something more appealing than the original background. I think I would like the bird more without flipping it. Maybe that's because I am left handed. Jan 27th
21 Jan 18 Comment I can really relate to the image of the chess player and the chess pieces and they are quite well done. For me I would have stopped there and the two wall pictures and the apple only serve to confuse me (I/am like simple). Jan 27th
21 Jan 18 Comment This is an interesting image and I am sure more interesting than the original slide. I think the colors are overpowering and at first I did not even see the subject. Jan 27th
21 Jan 18 Comment Your have done a very good job and met your objective. I really like the branches and the wheat along with the Plastic Wrap Filter. I like the idea of the face to show the torture, but I think I would experiment with some different colors. Jan 27th
21 Jan 18 Comment For some reason there is no image for me to review and comment. Jan 27th
