Hi Bill. This image captures the essence of the place. The light, color, and depth come together nicely. My only suggestion would be to try a 16:9 crop to trim a bit of the sky and foreground, so the frame leans more into the beach, water, and mountain. |

Thanks Adi. I appreciate you catching the chromatic aberration. I've made the correct in the image. |

Thanks for your feedback Michael. I've got a few other photos cropped like you mentioned that I still need to edit.....looking forward to seeing how they turn out. |

Haha yes, a secret! I remember another photo of yours from this location and the flipped falls is more visually appealing. Also for my work, I always consider whether a photo works better with realism or a more creative aesthetic so flipping it is never an issue especially when it works! |

Thanks for your feedback Larry. I'll check the color lab values in LR to see the luminance level on the rock.

Hi Adi. The vertical composition works to emphasize the height of the falls and the downward movement of the water. I like the green foliage on the left as it adds some depth whereas the right side feels a bit empty. The silky water contrasts nicely over the rocks adding visual interest. Nicely done. |

Hi Michael. What a gorgeous spot in the Rockies -- hope you got to stay at the lodge. The mountain peak is nicely centered and the image appears sharp throughout. The refections give a nice balance to the mountains. There's a lot going on in the foreground but I like it because it adds a sense of place for me. Nicely done. BTW, I also use my 5DMarkIV as a second camera -- it's such a workhorse and still a favorite. |

Hi Larry. Ahh, beautifully exposed falls with that silky water flow. There's nothing better to do on a cloudy day than spend it at a waterfall. I really love the pop of color in the leaves and the warm tones and texture of the layered rocks. They go nicely with the cooler tones in the water. Cropping out the brighter area of the falls was a strong choice along with the composition -- before reading your description my eye went from the water to the leaves. Good decision and well done! |

Haha, definitely determination. I was actually hesitant to even step out onto the rock since everyone we passed on the way there warned us that the rocks were slippery. But once I arrived, I let go of the "what if's" and knew if I didn't at least try to get a shot I'd always regret it. |
