Thanks for your feedback Michael. This photo was taken quite a while ago so I honestly don't recall whether the clouds eventually covered the entire sky or if it cleared up afterward. |

Hi Adi. Street photography in Paris is always fascinating. I used to capture similar refections in NYC and Charleston and it's always fun to see what the camera actually records. For me, I usually try to avoid including myself in the frame. It's challenging but sometimes a subtle selfie works. I think it works in this image. The wiper adds a definite sense of the physical environment. However, I would suggest cropping out the half circles at the top and trimming a bit from each side up to where the wiper begins. This would help eliminate the white structures on both sides of the frame which draws my eye away from the center of the image. |

Hi Bill. The low-lying storm clouds must have been an incredible sight - I'd have reached for my iPhone to snap a photo, too. Like Michael, my attention was first drawn to the cars and it wasn't until I read your description that I noticed the drama in the clouds. Moving forward past the cars would have given a different perspective but just being there to see the clouds sweep in had to be a great moment. |

Hi Michael. I really like how the bridge and the waterfall draw me into the image. The red mill provides a nice balance to the bridge along with the grassy area on the right. The warm and cool colors work well together in this image. However, the image feels slightly tilted to the right. My eye is also drawn to the overexposed sky beneath the bridge and the bright yellow grass on the right. Possibly consider cloning out the blank sky under the bridge and toning down the brightness of the grass. |

Hi Larry. Any excuse to get out and photograph is a good one! I really like how the light beams were captured in this shot. Comparing the colors of the first original to the edited version, I personally find the tones in the original more appealing. Given the prominent white beams and buildings, I wonder if converting to black and white might help to simplify the scene and make it more striking. |

Hi Al. Capturing a tender moment between a lion and lioness is a rare and special experience. Glad you got to experience it and share this photo. My only observation is that the image appears a bit crunchy or over sharpened on my monitor. |

Hi Kirsti. What a wonderful fun image - I'm sure the photo shoot was an absolute blast! I like the boy's soft focus - it creates a separation from the snake. For me, his intent gaze, which is locked onto the snake, makes it clear the snake is the main subject and tells a good story. I'm not sure about the crop and placement of the boy within the frame. While I like the idea of placing the boy slightly off center, his shadow may be too soft to add interest to the image. Perhaps trying a square crop and centering the boy could add more symmetry and balance. Or as previously mentioned try to darken the shadow a bit. Great job! |

Hi Jeff. You did an outstanding job highlighting the intricate textures and lines in this image. The wispy grass paired with the interplay of light and shadows on the sand creates a nice sense of depth. Along with the textured clouds, these elements work well together to make this image truly stand out. Wonderful image! |

Hi Robert. What a stunning scenic view! The cloud formations complement nicely with snow covered mountain peak and the diagonal layers in the foreground. My eye is drawn to 3 areas of brightness on the left side of the image - foreground, mountain peak, and the sky. While I'm not certain of the luminosity values in these regions, if possible adjusting at least the foreground would help direct the attention toward the mountain and sky which is beautiful. |

Hi Douglas. What a lucky photographer to photograph this event. I really love the blue color of the dress, but for this particular angle, the black and white conversion is much more effective. I like softer tonal range as it gives the image a more gentle and flattering feel. As the others pointed out, including the photographer fully within the frame would strengthen the narrative especially since the subject's face is turned toward him or her. |
