Larry, kudos to you for 189 steps! The camera settings you used effectively captured a soft, flowing waterfall. The wide view nicely showcases the waterfall pool and its surroundings but for me I would consider cropping from the bottom - perhaps up to the log in the water. Additionally, the greenery on the left side of the frame appears a bit bright, so applying a linear gradient could help tone down the brightness. Nicely done! I think I need to plan a trip there!

Bill, great job with the post-processing! Today's smartphones are such great pocket cameras. Did you edit the images using the PS app on your phone or on a computer? I frequently use the LR and PS apps on my phone.
I like how the reflection turned out in your image and the moon replacement. Personally, I might have lowered the moon a bit more and removed some of the sky, but that's just a photographer's choice. My only suggestion would be to eliminate the white dots on the mountain. |

Adi, I recently visited WV, and it is a stunning state; made for outdoor living!!! Although I haven't seen Blackwater Falls, I'm planning to make a trip next fall. I like how the waterfall is framed by the trees and how the rain enhances the colors in the landscape. The beautiful sheen to the rocks is a plus. For me the shutter speed works giving a smooth flow that contrasts with its surroundings. One suggestion I have is to slightly darken the midtones. Possibly this would add a touch of drama or mood and help the falls stand out more prominently. Just a thought..what do I know lol. Great job. |

Arne, the black and white conversion is stunning, and the charm of the old buildings works nicely in this format. The various features throughout kept me intrigued and the reflections were nicely captured. However, my eyes are particularly drawn to the bright sky reflection in the lower center of the foreground. |

Michael, this is a well-documented image, and for me, I prefer minimal processing to this type of photography. The image is sharp, and the colors appear natural. My only suggestion would be to crop it slightly to emphasize the community more effectively. |

Isaac, when I first viewed this image, it struck me as a classic family portrait featuring triangle positioning. The scratching behavior is well documented. The arrangement of the elephants, particularly with the central focus on the one looking at the camera, creates a nice sense of balance and makes for a great group photo. For me, the image captures a strong connection within the herd. Great image!

Adrian, I appreciate you sharing this photo and the insights on the ice flows. Navigating those waters must be quite challenging. The composition, featuring the steep mountain together with the well-placed floating ice, is visually appealing. The image is sharp and combined with the clouds that enhance the lighting adds to its appeal. Very nice. |

Maria, this is a nice capture. Observing these creatures up close allows me to truly appreciate their delicate nature and unique features. The eyes are sharp, and the soft diffused light is a plus. Additionally, the grasshopper's position, with its eyes directed at you, is a sweet detail. Very nice.

Bruce, this is a beautiful image of the pronghorn. The colors are particularly pleasing to my eye and enhance the presentation of the animal. The pronghorn is sharp and combined with the soft lighting creates a nice effect.
