Thanks Michael. The aurora definitely added a nice touch to the night. |

Thanks Bill. I appreciate your feedback. The angles of the meteors were maintained as they appeared in their original frames. The only adjustment made was to the large meteor on the right; it was originally positioned near the top edge of the frame, so I moved it slightly to fit better within the 16:9 crop. Do you think it looks unrealistic? I try not to make too many changes when processing. |

What a wonderful location for hiking! The ridges of these mountains remind me of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which I love and visit frequently. I find it challenging to maintain the natural blue hue created by atmospheric haze in the mountains. The composition beautifully showcases the ridges and the brightening of the mountains illuminates the ridges nicely. However, I personally prefer a more subtle blue tone that is less saturated especially for the sky. Nice job!

Well done on this panorama! It effectively captures the scene, providing a broad view that allows me to appreciate the city, the water, and the positioning of the mountains, all without being there. The details are nicely highlighted, and the colors enhance the overall composition. Great job! |

This is an amazing design for a bridge and you captured it well! The black and white conversion is exceptionally effective. The long exposure of the water and sky beautifully complements the smooth curves of the bridge and its elongated cables. This image truly justifies every hour spent on editing; the tones are fantastic throughout. |

Thank you very much, Larry. I completely agree about including the aurora; it has been surprisingly visible a few times this year along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and while I'm not sure why, I certainly not complaining. I usually enjoy light painting, but with others around, the silhouette was the better option. Without the aurora, the silhouette against the dark sky wouldn't have stood out as effectively. |

Thank you, Adi! I really wish I could capture multiple meteors in a single frame, but that seems unlikely. Since I couldn't use light painting for the foreground due to the presence of other people in the area, the house (really a restroom) had a defined shape to create a clean silhouette. |

I had the same problem with humidity at the beach in Charleston. In the mountains, the August temps start to cool off which makes shooting at night chilly. However there is low lying fog and condensation in the cooler temps which can be problematic. Out west where the air is dry and the sky is dark is the best! Regarding the fireballs I saw one which was amazing. Of course it was not in my camera's field of view. |

This scene of the Maine coastline is picture-perfect. The varied colors of the homes provide a nice contrast against the serene blue sky, water, and snow-covered ground. The composition effectively captures the essence of Stonington.
Like Adi and Larry, I generally prefer some separation from the coastline, but the arrangement of the boats in this image is works. |

I love images featuring multiple meteors streaking across the sky! You've done an impressive job finding a dark location and a good background for your composite, especially given the well-lit conditions in Florida. I applaud you for braving the night alongside those pesky mosquitoes-I would have needed a suit of armor!
The curved leading line and softly illuminated foreground draws my eye into the image, guiding me from the rocks to the sky. The meteors are nicely integrated into the background photo, and the natural sky color enhances their presence. The light pink and green meteors are a great capture and always appreciated with the Perseids!
The vertical format works for me. The sky is highlighted by the meteor-filled sky while the foreground rocks add stability. As Adi pointed out, on my screen I also see some noise in the middle. Overall, this is a fantastic image that showcases your great effort and skill!

Thanks Isaac. In Smoky mountains the green tags can mean conflict with humans but it could also mean the bear was tagged just because they ended up in a rehab center to remove an object, i.e., jug from head or for bear management. I tend to err on the side of caution, as I've witnessed bears charging people. |

Hi Isaac. Great job capturing the seabird feeding its chick! I appreciate you sharing this, as I've never seen this seabird before. The composition, lighting, and sharpness are all very good. For me the composition makes the birds stand out against a busier background and documents the feeding process nicely. |

Hi Adrian. Great job capturing the puffins with their beaks full! The composition featuring three puffins is well-balanced and visually appealing. The colors are vibrant, and the subjects are sharp and clear.

Hi Chris. The wolf embodies the spirit of nature and the untamed wilderness, a truly magnificent creature. I may be a bit biased due to my love for this animal, but the image captures its beauty perfectly. Post process was done well. The soft light illuminates its face and coat, enhancing its striking features. The piercing eyes draw attention and complement its intense posture. Possibly to enhance the image further, consider reducing the luminosity around the edges while increasing it slightly in the center. This adjustment could help the wolf stand out even more dramatically. |

Hi Maria, the portrait of the fox is beautifully done, with the colors enhanced in post processing. Wonderful photo. For me the blurry green foreground is somewhat distracting. A tighter crop to remove some of the foreground would be my only recommendation. |

Bruce, what a breathtaking image of a mother fox and her pups! Every element of this photograph comes together beautifully. The mother's loving and protective gaze, combined with her relaxed posture, creates a sense of warmth and safety. Meanwhile, the wide-eyed curiosity of the pups adds a nice touch of innocence. The soft bokeh in the background, with its subtle hints of color, complements the wildflowers in the foreground, enhancing the overall scene. For me, this image captures the essence of nature's beauty. Well done!
