I like how you captured the motion of the waterfall. For me the water is too blue and as stated by the others I would also like to see a bit more of the surrounding area but sometimes it's not possible. Overall good job. |

No need to go darker. I think you removed just enough of the brightness.

His work is amazing. Kudos to him and you for bravely moving through the swamps. I will admire it from a distance! |

Thanks Arne. I like your suggestion about the luminosity mask and I will give it a try. I still struggle with losing the sky when cropping but I will definitely try it out. Thanks for your feedback! |

Thanks Richard! I have taken everyone's suggestions and can now see the difference and power the image has with just changing a few things. I appreciate your feedback! |

Thanks Michael. Your points are well taken and I've already tried them out. When I look at the image above compared to the suggestions about black & white points and contrast, it is definitely a flat image! Thanks for your feedback! |

Thanks for your feedback Larry. When I looked at the image I didn't see flat until I played with the black/white points and contrast. Definitely makes a big difference especially in B/W. I agree with your point about camera position unfortunately because it was windy with both sand and water spraying everywhere I didn't want to risk saltwater in my camera. I know it's a poor excuse.... |

Thanks Bill. Your suggestions are good! I tend to hold back on contrast but now realize that's what I'm missing. Appreciate your help! |

Macro is more challenging than most think. I think you did a great job especially working with a new lens. The ice drops and the ice pieces make this image interesting. As Michael mentioned above, Topaz Sharpen AI is a life saver. Nice image. |

A scene with a framed foreground feature makes the scene more interesting. I think it provides nice depth. My only suggestion is to bring up the shadows in the stone and add some additional detail to the stone and clouds. Very nice. |

Glad you had a chance to wander around on such a clear, beautiful day. The rotunda is beautiful and it's where my eye goes when I look at this image. The swan is a nice additive but my focus goes to the architecture. For me the image is a little dark and cool. I would love to see a warmer/brighter image, more of a golden glow, to help bring out the colors in the structure and the shadows. The sky and water looks great. Nice work. |

Well Larry, I wouldn't be hiking with you in waist deep alligator territory, mating season or not! At first I wasn't sure but I think the square crop works with this image. The left tree is a tad brighter but I don't mind it as the Madonna stands out nicely. Great vision! |

What a great winter scene. It could be a Christmas card. Michael, I would be right with you hiking through the snow. I like how the tops of the trees are visible and the curve of the creek. Lovely. |
