36 Sep 21 Comment There's a lot to look at in this beautiful location but I don't think b/w does it justice. The beauty of the mountains, rolling hills, and homes gives the image a sense of place however for me there's not a wide enough range of grays or contrast to give it a sense of depth. I would love to see what it looks like in color. I like Michael's tip for determining B/W vs color. Sep 21st
36 Sep 21 Comment I love the moody feeling this image provides. The fog and birds add to the early morning feel. As previously suggested I would also remove the water. Nice photo. Sep 21st

36 Sep 21 Reply Thank you Larry. Doing these critiques has helped me to learn something about my photography style. I never really thought about my style but I'm finding that I tend to lean more toward simplicity when I'm out shooting. It's the peacefulness of the scene that draws me in. Sep 7th

36 Sep 21 Reply Thanks for your feedback Michael. I did add some dehaze but will go back and see what it looks like with a bit more. I'll also look at darkening the areas you mentioned.

36 Sep 21 Comment I really like this image. It gives me a sense of what it feels like to stand at the overlook. The colors are complimentary and the angle of the cliff brings me into the image. For me, the only thing I would do is crop to a 16:9 to eliminate some of the grass in the lower right corner. Nice job.

36 Sep 21 Comment Very nice image. I like the dramatic backlighting. The flowers add to the composition along with the stairs that lead to the building on the top. For me, I would add a touch more color to the flowers to make them pop. Additionally, I would remove the wall in the lower left and brighten the stairs to draw more attention to the left side of the image. Sep 6th
36 Sep 21 Comment Very nice image. The human presence in the image definitely adds scale to the surroundings. The colors and the simplicity of the image makes it a serene scene. Sep 6th
36 Sep 21 Comment I am impressed how you think about an image and the lengths you take to achieve your goal. The choice of directional light along with the movement of the waves definitely helped to tell the story. The image clearly shows how sharp and jagged the rocks are. Definitely not a place to slip and fall! Nice job! Sep 6th
