36 Aug 21 Comment Sweet camera! Have fun with it.
When I first looked at your image it gave me the feeling of a cool, crisp day. The water looks refreshing and the clear blue sky works in this image. I tend to agree with the others about the front of the white boat in the lower part of the frame. When I tried a simple crop it came out similar to Larry's. The row buildings and the sailboats are a nice focal point. 		Aug 10th
36 Aug 21 Comment I like the feeling of the photograph as is. The colors and lighting are wonderful. The orientation of the image and having a little bit of the tree/bush trunk in the lower right corner works for me. Although the right side is a bit darker it's to be expected as it sits behind the boulder. The gradient tool could add a bit of brightness. I'm not sure if it's the fog in the image, but is there a slight halo around the mountains on the left side? Aug 10th

36 Aug 21 Comment The main focal point is the ferris wheel so I agree to crop out the buildings to the far right. You did a good job brightening the image and highlighting the ferris wheel.
Just a thought, I would also try to convert to B/W and add more brightness and contrast. 		Aug 5th
36 Aug 21 Comment Very nice image and composition. I really like the foreground. The colors, shadows from the clouds and its peaceful feel. The clouds are perfect for this scene. It may be my computer (I haven't calibrated my screen in a few weeks), but the blue sky looks intensely saturated. Aug 5th
36 Aug 21 Comment I've never taken this hike but it's something to put on a to do list. Sounds like a fun trip.
My first impression is the waterfall placement is nicely balanced and I like how there is breathing space around the falls giving it a sense of place. Your choice of shutter speed is good as it creates a nice white silky stream that stands out in an otherwise dark location. The lush green moss also makes the image pop. My only recommendation is to crop out the small branches in the foreground. I prefer this image to the one taken from the side. I think the waterfall in the side image is pushed to close to the edge of the frame. However, I do like how the light hits the moss from the right. Great images.
