Thanks Bill. If I remember correctly spring didn't start yet at the higher elevations. I agree the trees could use a bit more color and will give it a try!

Thanks Larry. When I pulled over on the parkway I left my second camera with a 70-200 lens in my jeep which was parked further from where I was set-up. As the sun started to peek through the clouds I immediately thought about running to get the camera/lens but knew my window of opportunity would move away quickly. I did run to get it anyway but wasn't able to get the shot. |

Beautiful image and location. I like the road leading to the mountains, the colors, the light, etc. I agree with cropping the bottom. For me I like to use a 2:1 ratio. |

I really like this photo and the location. The black sand and the lone rock against the blue water is where my eye goes. I'm on the fence about the grass but I would probably crop it out along with bit of the rock. The lone rock could also use a touch of brightening to bring out the texture. |

Great location and I like the pop of white from the lighthouse. I would tend to agree with everyone about eliminating the sky and make the focus on the lighthouse and the white caps along the rocks. Possibly adding the radial filter tool to draw an area around the subject and reduce exposure would make the lighthouse stand out even more. Nice image! |

The Smokies never disappoint. I like the angle of the sun rays and how they sweep across the mountains. When I'm photographing a scenic mountain view I often use trees for my foreground to show depth and scale. I'm ok with the foreground trees too.

What a fun place to spend your night! Great job on the pinpoint stars, the composition, and the milky way. I like how the MW arches over the boat and all the stars in the sky.
The boat is well lit and has a nice soft light however I question the blue cast on the white section of the boat and parts of the sand. Was a color gel used on the lights? It's always my preference to neutralize any color casts on white objects however it's the photographer's preference to add a color cast as a creative tool for impact and drama. Great job.
