Hello Darcy,
Good point on the yellow in the grass. I think I can easily fix that. Thanks for the observation and compliments.

Hello Ingrid,
Good point about my crop on the base. It seems I had a reason for doing that, but I will certainly revisit the original and see if I can re-crop.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Hello Kamal,
Good point - and great minds! I do have several images of the statue from various angles. It is an amazing work of art based on that iconic photo.
Thanks for your comments.

Hello Kamal,
Beautiful image! I love the colors and the sense of scale you've achieved with those people on the stairs.
You might want to check your horizontal rook line. It seems to be slanting downward to me, but that might just be because the green line on the roof is not as predominant on the right as it is on the left.
Thanks for sharing this amazing shot!

Hi Tom,
What an exciting shot and an amazing capture. THe only thing I suggest - that has been previously mentioned - it to try an bring out some more detail in the white areas of the belly and dorsal fin.
Fantastic capture!

Hi Greg,
Great sharpness on that eye and those feathers. I wish I could see more detail in his beak. It's hard to discern against the busy reeds in the background. Maybe you could blur them some...?
I may have to be the dissenting voice on the large stump. At first I didn't like it, then I read the comments about it mirroring the shape of the bird, but then I came back to not liking it after all. Sorry...
It is a great environmental portrait of that beautiful bird.

Hi Darcy,
Love the story and the image. This is just beautiful with that leading line drawing the eye directly to the star of the show. I actually don't mind that it's in the center of the frame. You've captured such beautiful lighting. The only thing I might suggest is a slight crop off the bottom. Those lighter areas of grass do tend to draw my eye away from the center.
Beautiful shot!

Hi Ingrid,
You are indeed lucky to live in such a beautiful place!
This is a fabulous image. I liked several of the suggestions, so I'll echo Greg to crop some from the top, but I would add maybe a bit from the bottom too, to get that panoramic feel.
I like all of your other edits, especially that painterly feel.
Great job!
