Hi Kamal,
I hope you're feeling better.
Thanks for your observations and insights. I'll see what I can do with that background!
Take care,

Everyone,
My apologies for my tardiness. I've been on the road most of June and July. I hope to have some NEW pictures to share next month!
Thanks for all your feedback!

It was a very bright day, so I probably could have handled f8. Thanks for the suggestion, since I'll probably try again!

I' will definitely try a different f-stop next time to try for better overall focus.
Thanks for the comments!

Great suggestion on toning down that yellow in the background. I will give that a try.
Thanks!

I was immediately struck by the sadness emanating from this creature and the situation. Your description only enhances this. You have definitely evoked an emotional response with this image. And, that's without seeing the chain at first glance. So, I agree that some lightening of that area would only enhance this image.
Great capture!

What an awesome event this must have been to behold!
I do agree about that round white spot. It detracts from the star of the show - the beautiful Opera House. Here's a thought (although my photojournalistic friends would cringe!)...
1. Move the red/blue arched lights slightly up and to the left. It's pretty cool and you don't want to lose it!
2. Crop to just above the big white spot and it's surrounding lights.
this gives you two benefits.
1. You remove the distraction.
2. You create move of a panorama crop to further enhance the vastness of this spectacle!
I'm green with envy!

What a great capture!
My two wishes would be to:
1. have a bit more "head room" for the stationary horse - if that's available in the original image. (Possibly a Canvas Extension in Ps?)
2. Expand your removal of the lettering on the sign behind the horse's head to completely remove those distractions.
Great job on freezing this moment!

I have mixed feelings about the B&W background. I kind of like it, but the bright areas are just too bright. Maybe some Gaussian blur in Ps would do the trick...? I'm mainly a Lr gal, myself, but there are some images that just beg to be treated to a little Ps magic!
Beautiful flower and image!

Another great 75 MPH capture!
My only wish is that it had more of a "landscape" crop to it to emphasize the vastness of the area. You certainly don't want to lose any of that great sky, but maybe take just a bit off the bottom...?
Great job!
