I did have other shots that caught more of the petals, see example, but preferred the close up view on the inside of the flower... |

Jason, great job - love the choice of location, your foreground really makes the shot! Might bring up your shadows a bit more, but not a lot to add. Really well done!

Nice job Terry - you've beaten me to comments on all other images re: cropping - you and I seem to have similar tastes for tight crops. I like where you chose to move your borders. Excellent subject, I particularly like the look in his eye as he sees you with the camera. Well done! |

Beautiful shot Helen - great decision to get out on the water. Agree with Terry re: crop on right. You got wonderful positioning of the monks, and lovely coloring in the sky! very well done |

Hi Sunil, Interesting shot. Very hard to find the "right" crop... I appreciate that you were trying to get all the people / ground level distractions out of the picture, but to be honest, I kind of thing that the people add something to the image, and I might cut lower and leave them in. Would not crop lower edge through the wording "Katyn" - if you want to cut above the people would remove the lettering. for me, the problem point on the lower level of photo is the truck with the bright lights, particularly as it's halfway behind the statue - might be hard to remove it in post. Do like the statue though! perhaps go really tight...? |

Very intersting composition and nice photograph. I like the likes from the sidewalk leading me into the middle of the image. The street heading off to the right is distracting me though, and I'm not quite sure how best to address. How tight was your original crop? Is there more of the image to add back on the right so that the blacktop doesn't go off the image on the right side? Perhaps cropping more off the bottom would help... Not sure. Love the colors. Agree with removing the sign on the sidewalk. Nice job! |

Extraordinary image, particularly for the story that it captures. I do like the cop that Terry suggested, and I really like the way that the child is bordered by the brush and the tree. Really nothing else that I would change - great work! |
