Gorgeous Dahlia! Every bit of it is in focus and sharp. The background adds an artistic touch and the colors replicate the flower in a very pleasing way. Love it. |

Kamal, love this. The color is incredible and having the bees just makes it better. I do think you can lose a little of the negative space on the right, but I'm really enjoying this one. |

Wow, it's like I'm back in the sixties again! Far out! Love all four of them. Agree with Ingrid that removing the bug and the black spot would cap off a beautiful rendition. |

You definitely got your painterly look. Never seen a hellebore quite that color, it's beautiful. I always love what you do with backgrounds, this one is no exception. Well done. |

Marti, great colors with fall definitely in the air. I see you really underexposed the original and had to bring exposure and colors up to speed. Nice job. My overall impression is that there is no subject to focus on, in fact, my eye travels to the empty space between the three primary flowers, primarily because it wants to go somewhere and never rests on anything. Just my take. |

Hi Bob, pretty striking image of the Dahlia. I'm fascinated by the halos created around the flower itself. The green background is a perfect offset for the subject. Like Marti, the bright flower, with all the motion, seems to pull something away from the main subject, and in fact, turns into the main subject itself. Lind of wish it was just the blossom and the halos around it. Anyway, these things are often tricky, and it's really what's in the eye of the artist. |
