Ingrid, wonderful Iris. Color is amazing and it's very sharp. You also did a good job of dealing with the sunlight which can be quite difficult with all the folds and ripples in an Iris. I hardly ever shoot flowers in the sun now, always the shade and deal with brightness in post. I do agree with Marti that the left bud pulls my eye, but not much you could do about it other than clip it off. Nice work. |

Kamal, nice job capturing this against the water, which is always a pleasant background. Sharpness and colors are great. And I do like the filter you used. I'd try to clean up some of the webs and brown spots in the foliage and compositionally, I'd try something like this to see if it works for you. |

Really love this. Has a great, uplifting feeling to it and it's very artsy. I agree with some of the comments about either removing or darkening the green leaves above the image, but other than that - wowie! |

You turned an ordinary photo into a work of art. As usual your background is lovely and the flower seems to be the appropriate sharpness. I do like that you flipped it. I'm not sure if I like the border, the intensity of the color pulls my eye there. But very nice. |

Good capture with his head stuck way down in collecting position. The focus is right where it should be on the bee and the stamen. My favorite part of the flower are the two very front petals because the sun is shining through them and you can see underneath how colorful they are. Good bokeh on the background too. Nice job. |

It all about the water. Ordinarily I'd say, ok it's a nice image with great bokeh, but the drops make it something special because you braved the elements. Also the purple against the green is the perfect complement. My only suggestion is to try a bit more sharpening on the flower, but that could be resolution issue on my side. Nice. |
