Ingrid, personally, I love this one just as it is. No comments to make it better, it fits my eye perfectly. |

Hi Kamal, very nice effort here. The flower is striking, never seen anything like it. Powerful reds! I do agree with some of the others that the background is a bit strong for the flower. But you are making great improvement with your composition and backgrounds. Nice job, keep it up. |

Hi Doug, can't say I've seen a tulip quite like this, always fun to see something new. The curves are great, in fact they may be more pronounced in monochrome. I do think a bit more focus would make for more interest. I also agree that there is a bit too much bleeding into the background, but that may be a color issue. |

Nadia, another winner. Colors, texture, water drops, who could want more? I also appreciate that you used the small green leaf in opposition to the main blossom. It makes the composition for me. One question, do you photograph the backgrounds yourself or are you creating them artificially? (I ask because I submit a lot of my work into competition and every bit of it has to me from my camera.) Well done! |

Marti, I love you thought to go monochrome on this, it brings out the detail and patterns so well. Has a great overall impression, but makes me want to look closer at sections of it. Great idea and well crafted. |

Hi Bob, honestly, I love the original. The colors against the black, the flower distribution and sharpness is excellent. I would just erase the gray sections. The abstract is colorful, and I like the motion, but does not hold my interest very long. |
