Kamal, lovely flower. I always enjoy your descriptions of the places you've been. I'm always in favor of attempting to use textures where they make sense. For me it works on the background but not on the flower itself. Also, the bugs or black spots should be erased, not because they're natural objects, but because the eye of the viewer is drawn to the spots and not to the flower. You're getting more creative with each submittal and I'm enjoying watching your photography grow. |

Stunning image. The colors are sensuous, focus excellent especially on the stamen, nice composition, hard to find anything wrong. My only comment would be to maybe darken the upper stem a bit. My eye does wonder there. Great job! |

Marti, really well done. Colors, focus, background and drops! What more can you ask for? Love it. |

Marti, if you used flash it was a well placed one. Hardly a shadow! What I really like about this is the backlight coming through the petals. Also, the focus is very good, I take it you did not stack it? Nicely pleasing. |

Bob, well that's creative. Love the spiral effect and colors. I tend to agree with Marti about ends going past border. Maybe I would try erasing the two lobes at each end and concentrating on the spiral itself? Just a thought. |

Doug, no fair that you can stack images in camera! Very nice study of a leaf in decay. The colors are beautiful going from green to yellow and then the browns. For some reason I do read a bit of softness towards the center, but that could just be my screen. Very nice. |
