Kamal, sorry for the late remarks, life has been crazy lately. I like that you took a high-key approach to this image. Your edits made the subject pop and brought real interest to the photo. The white background and mono color add a great deal to the overall impression. My only suggestion is you might look for a color that provides more contrast and separation between each blossom. Overall, very creative. |

Doug, I really like the way you've done this. With the center sharp and then the image getting less in focus as you move away from it really works. The colors are amazing and the flower is a very good specimen. I noticed that there are a few cobwebs or spiderwebs running through the very center portion that you may consider erasing and the center portion is not as tack sharp as it could be. Other than that great job. |

Nadia, another beauty. Colors are wonderful in the end and butterfly really helps. I just went to a photography seminar where the photographer talked about having two subjects in every photo, he calls it haiku photography, and you've accomplished it here. My only criticism is that it looks as though vase is not resting on anything and is about to tip forward. Other than that, it's beautiful. |

Jacob, Nice effort here. You separated the flower from the background quite nicely and the focus or sharpness of the flower is quite good. I also like that, you shot the image from straight on or a little below the subject, that always works well for flower photography. One suggestion I have is that when shooting the flower try to make sure there is no human-made structure in the background, that would greatly improve the overall image. |

Bob, what a great experiment. I've tried this type of thing before a couple times and never really like them, but I do like this. I think the twist you did at the beginning makes all the difference. The colors are great and there is definitely a center of focus. Nice job. |
