Kathryn, I love worth it ended up. I think the focus on one particular place on the bloom works just fine and the background touches are lovely. You ended up with a very painterly effect, and it works great for this particular flower. It's very well done as usual. |

Kamal, I think this is one of your best. The idea that some of the others raised regarding erasing or cropping out the bud and the top flower is something I'm in agreement with. It would be much more powerful with just three blooms. But you did a marvelous job capturing it and the colors are perfect. Very nice job. |

Hi Doug, that is one hairy flower! I too love to stack things and you've done a great job with this. It's not my favorite subject in the world, I have found that when focus stacking flowers, they seem to be more interesting when they are simple subjects, and not full of as many fibers as this one. Great job on the stacking and perhaps a crop like the attached would work? |

Nadia, really love what you did with this. The background on the original was a bit hectic, and the replacement is just fabulous. It brings a whole other feeling to the flower. Colors are luscious and the focus is just where it should be. Can't think of anything I change. |

Hi Jacob, I really enjoy this image of the lily. You did a really nice job of exploring the colors and giving the viewer a good idea of the ambience of the place. I do agree with some of the others, and that the colors may be a bit too saturated but that's easy to fix. I also think that erasing the stalk that's right behind the Lily would be helpful. Nice job. |

Bob, what an interesting concept; you basically created a frame with the "swirling" of the leaves. Very creative. The colors pop and the movement within the image is great. The only thing that kind of throws it off for me is that the main subject's focus is slightly to the bottom left, meaning not centered, which negates some of the great symmetry. Nice job. |
