Kathryn, you are a whiz with backgrounds and this one is just lovely. It almost looks as if the flower is growing out of the frame! The coloring is excellent as the grays of the background really go well with the purples of the flower. I don't have a single thing to critique - beautiful job. |

Kamal, lovely flower and excellent background. The green offsets the red beautifully and and having the bee in play really helps. As others have mentioned, the bee and much of the flower are soft.. You might try Topaz Sharpening and see what the results are. It can do amazing things. |

Doug, you created a very sublime image. I do like that it is a monotone of pink. I also appreciate the stack focus you put on the unfolding bud of the flower. Really nothing more for me to say other than I really enjoy it. |

Jacob, nice job. The flower is quite striking and the colors rich. I do like the way you separated the flower from its background. The original flower does not look quite as spent as your finished flower. Perhaps you can clean it up using the clone tool found in most programs. I'd also consider brightening it up just a tad. Other than that great job. |

Well, I now know where the ufo's are. Really like the what happened here. The colors are gorgeous, the abstract unique and interesting, and I keep looking at it for something new to see. It's very liquid and, at the same time, solid - if that makes sense. Well done. |
