Kathryn, I love how you use textures with some of your flowers, adds a nice dimension. The colors are beautiful and peaceful and the flower gorgeous. For me, though, there's a bit too much going on around the main subject. My eye is not settling on what I think is your focus. Perhaps that's because my eye keeps drifting to the empty space. Just my thinking and maybe bad eyes. As usual, you do beautiful work. |

Syed, I can see why you were attracted to this flower, it's striking. Also interesting that you mentioned it being in the breeze, it is so difficult to get a subject like this to not have a bit of motion blur, but you did a fine job. I also like the composition and the filter you used. Nice job. |

Doug, this really ended up being a piece of abstract art in my eye. The lines and colors are compelling. The only issue I have with it is where the downward facing limbs meet to the upward facing limbs. There is a disconnect that is somehow distracting to me. Don't think there is anything to be done about it, just an impression I get. Overall, I think it's a great experiment. |

Nadia, this a sumptuous image of the Agapanthus blossoms. The color, though not the original, is deep and very pleasing. The composition is an unusual one, but works very well here. Beautiful job, wouldn't change a thing. |

Jacob, that's a killer color and tend to agree with some other comments that singling out the main flower from the background may be the way to go with this. The background and the reddish Lilly steal my eye a bit. Lots to play with here. |

Bob, interesting composition. I actually quite like it, especially the textures and colors. My eye is telling me it wants something more to focus on, so maybe slightly increasing the exposure of the center blossom and darkening the rest? Also I really like what you did with the light board, I love using mine especially for flower images, brings out the best in flowers. Well done. |
